23. 1. 2011 - To make waiting for the movie shorter, here is small preview of the shots from Siurana - Spain. Adam Ondra is trying 2 very different superhard 9b routes. Unclimbed bouldery project and then amazing line from Chris Sharma - Golpe de Estado 9b.
The movie will be finished when it is finished, it is our best interest to make it firstly well and secondly as soon as possible, but it is really terribly hard work to put 80 hours of good shots and information about this little big man into one simple 90 minutes movie. So I just say that is in a very advanced level of editing now... sorry... ;-)

This small video is small Christmas present form "BERNARTWOOD studio" to all climbers. These 2 boulders did not find its place in the final movie about Adam. They were planned to be on the DVD in EXTRAS. But yesterday, I decided to edit it a bit and give it to everybody...
Sorry for the "big" movie about Adam taking so long, it was incredibly hard work, mainly mental, but it is finished, and prepared for delivering. We would like to put it out as a HD DOWNLOAD on December 31st, if all technical aspects will be OK.
DVD with really rich extras will follow in January.

Stoupa s Evinou v Moravském Krasu v Rudicích. Chtěl jsem si vyzkoušet nový kamerový jeřáb, ale foukal silný poryvový vítr, takže hrozilo převržení i s novou kamerou. Navíc moc nespolupracoval náhledový monitor, proto jsem musel použít pouze krátkou verzi jeřábu a odhad "od oka" :-) Ale to je jako každý začátek...■Kamerová zkouška

Drtivá většina záběrů je z jeřábu nebo z ruky, na detaily ani hraní si se zábery nebyl čas ani to nebylo nutné, jde skutečně jen o nedůležitou zkoušku:-)
Stoupa opakovaně lezl jen lehkou (pro něj:) 8 UIAA, brzy přibudou videa ze skutečně náročných přelezů našich předních lezců.

This short "inspiration-movie" was edited from the footage, which was filmed randomly during the long trip of Petr and Eva to the northernmost parts of Europe. No script, no story etc... Just the strong northern inspiration, given me by the Northern lights :-)

STORY
Once uppon a time in a peacefull village hidden somewhere in the "eastern" Europe. Quiet and kind local martial arts fan goes for a walk. Two street bums don't like him, and want to disgrace and make fun of him. Unfortunatelly this was their last stupid idea. Unfortunately for all of them...

This is my first "film" I made 9 years ago in October 2000. I was cameraman, director, stunt coordinator and main actor at the same time, uff - HAHA :-D
I first touched what does it mean to edit something, and it was really very hard! Why? It was shot by old VHS-c analog camera and edited using the camera as a player and videorecorder (SVHS) as an editing machine! No computers, no digital, terrible quality, 1000 tries to match the frames, no idea how to do it... Hard but so sweet times...
Two years later, I had a very bad injury of my left ankle, so I had to quit with martial arts for 5 years and this is why I got to mountain and adventurous movies.
But the vision and the dreams did not change at all, so BERNARTWOOD, joke from my first movie, remained...

Short film made of a few "trash" or unsuccesful shots from Adam Ondra's latest visit in Zillertal.
Adam was training ON-SIGHT climbing for the upcoming World Cup competition. If he didn't succed, he just finished the route AF (all with 1 sit only) and left to try another "ON-SIGHT". You can see the effort he gives to his climbing.
So here are some "harder" routes from this great climbing area, performed by A.O in one of his bad days...
Who said that Adam is the shy and calm boy? :-D

The whole climb and much more will be a part of the new movie by BERNARTWOOD, which is being filmed right now on different spots of Europe.
It is a true story about a girl, young doctor, who decides to change her life a returns "full-time" to the climbing. On her incredible way to freedom, she meets the best or most interesting czech climbers, who help her to get her big dream, "free-climb" of one incredible bigwall in the northern fjords of Norway...
The new movie from BERNARTWOOD will include ice-climbing in Lappland, extreme hard traditional mountain climbing in Dolomity, hard mix-routes in High Tatras, big wall climbing in northern Norway, bouldering, sandstone and rock climbing in the Czech republic etc.
