Mark Heal nabs the second ascent of Yoyo Jiminy, at the beautiful Hepatitis Boulder in Central Park, NYC.
In a stellar final, Rustam Gelmanov (RUS) confirms his extraordinary condition and wins again - sending all the four final boulders in seven attempts - the third event of the 2012 IFSC Bouldering World Cup, in Vienna. Silver medal to his compatriot and reigning World Champion Dmitrii Sharafutdinov, bronze to Kilian Fischhuber (AUT). In the women, Akiyo Noguchi (JPN) confirms the gold from the first event in China and sends all the four final boulders in six attempts. Silver goes to Mina Markovic and bronze to Alex Puccio (USA), back to podium after nine months (Sheffield 2011).

We bailed on the hot weather in Las Vagas for some blizzardy but crisp conditions in joes valley for a couple days in mid April. All the problems were filmed with my iPhone 4s... footage turned out ok no? I need some lens attachments.
Josh also sent Beyond Life, Jitterbug and Fiery Furnace but unfortunately my camera phone wasn't rolling or was running out of space during those moments. DOH!

Ever since I serendipitously won a trip to Yosemite when I was 18, the beautiful Range of Light has captured my heart and become my home. Nothing brings me more joy than to share this life changing beauty with others.
Ever since I became fascinated with timelapse photography almost 2 years ago, after seeing the work of Tom Lowe, I’ve wanted to do a piece on Yosemite and the Sierra.
