ABYSS, the latest viral film from Louder Than Eleven, provides an insider’s look at rock climbing development. Exploration of secret, alpine climbing terrain high above Colorado’s Front Range has created a flurry of debate regarding the philosophy, secrecy and ethics of development. Culminating in Ben Spannuth’s FA of one of the world’s highest elevation 5.14s, ABYSS opens the floodgates of passionate debate within the climbing community.

The scandal unfolds in this 48-minute piece, featuring such climbing talents as Paige Claassen, Matty Hong, Chris Schulte, Mayan Smith-Gobat, Dave Wetmore and Matt Wilder and narrated by Jon Glassberg. Additional commentary from the insightful minds of Peter Beal, Herman Feissner, Joe Kinder, Brady Robinson, Ben Scott, Chris Sharma, John Sherman, and Clark Shelk.

The Passion is a boulderingfim including three different crags in Austria. The Zillertal, the Felbertal and the Silvapark near Galtür.

It shows ascents of:

Pitbull 8A (V11), Spirit 8A+ (V12), Pressure Drop 8A, Electra Extension 7C (V9), Bad Chemnist 7C+ (V10), Unterholz8 8A, Milewskycrack 7C+, The Super Tera-O-Mega Project 8A+, The Riddler 8A+/B (V12/13), Clockwork Orange 7C+/8A (V10/11), Incubator 8A+/B in the Zillertal

Libre soft 7C+, Twisted Moonlight 8A, Defender of faith 7C+/8A in the Felbertal

and Pretty Belinda 8A+ trav., Zwiederwurzn 8A in the Silvapark.

Our goal is to share our motivation for bouldering outdoors. We guess it is the best thing that climbing offers and hopefully some of you will try it for the first time after watching the film. But remember that keeping the nature clean is very important cause we all do not want to annoy other climbers and residents.

In September of 2011 we hit the road in Lax (my not so trusty ole '82 Granville) and headed south from Portland to run the Rogue River, climb Mt. Shasta, and visit Yosemite enroute to Bishop where we would settle for the fall. This film documents our time in Bishop, bouldering. The hope was to show "the rest of us" climbing, the way it feels to all of us. Climbing is a deeply relative sport, with effort, challenge, and pain tied directly between the individual and the climb itself.

During the time we were in Bishop, filming COMMIT, we worked with the utterly awesome www.AccessFund.org, and www.FriendsOfTheInyo.org to build steps, clean up camping areas, and reconstruct trails throughout the bouldering areas.
