Aimee and Seabass are back vlogging it up at the UBC Pro Tour's (UBCprotour.com) second stop of 2011, the Eastern Mountain Sports Pro. This was the first-ever pro climbing comp to go down in Central Park, right in the heart of one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the world, making this a very unique and unforgettable tour stop.

Set loose in New York City for three days of vlogging, our very own dynamic duo finds themselves atop the Empire State building, climbing palm trees (?!), contemplating Diddy's current moniker and providing behind the scenes coverage of the climbing comp at The Cliffs at Valhalla and Central Park venues. The Unified Bouldering Championships Pro Tour brought the first-ever pro climbing competition to New York's Central Park with the Eastern Mountain Sports Pro on Saturday, June 25th, 2011.

Thousands and thousands of New Yorkers gathered to witness an amazing display of athleticism and drama from the world's best climbers. The crowd collectively held their breath, gasped, screamed and fist pumped the competitors on to their absolute limits. Feeding off the crowd's infectious energy, Vasya Vorotnikov and Angie Payne turned in inspired performances and snagged mens and womens first place victories.

On this day, pro climbing captured the attention of thousands of new fans and even found it's way into one of the world's most acclaimed publications, The New York Times. The sport of climbing was on display for all to see in front of one of the world's largest most influential audiences, New York City, and the result was a resoundingly huge success. Climbing represented itself to be every bit as worthy of delivering the energy, drama, excitement and athleticism expected from a major sporting event.

On February 11 & 12 2011 the best climbers in North America converged on Boulder CO for the beginning of the Unified Bouldering Championships Pro Tour and the 12th ABS National Championships powered by The North Face.
Big falls and bigger upsets characterized the climbing on the brand new competition walls from Vertical Solutions and after three rounds of competition, the new US National Champions are Alex Puccio (Female) and Alex Johnson (Male) for 2011... But with a last possible second flash of the final problem, it was Canadian Sean McColl who actually pulled out the win!
