3月6日に開催されるドイツのボルダリングのコンペの模様。

Am 6. März 2010 treffen sich die besten Boulderer Deutschlands zum Finale der Hard Moves Boulder League in den Wupperwänden!

■HardMoves finale 2010

Am Samstag, den 6. März fand in den Wupperwänden das Finale der Hard Moves Boulderleague statt. Die besten Boulderer aus den zehn beteiligten Hallen trafen aufeinander.
Insgesamt 1065 Teilnehmer hatten sich bei der „Hardmoves Boulderleague 2010 beteiligt. Am Samstag kam es dann zum großen Showdown der besten 1o Teams in Wuppertal. Die teilnehmenden Kletter- und Boulderhallen hatten ihre besten sieben Jungs und drei Mädels plus Fanclubs nach Wuppertal ins DAV-Kletterzentrum Wupperwände geschickt.
Die Qualifikation umfasste 40 von Jonas Baumann und Tobias Reichert geschraubte Boulderprobleme. Die Teams gaben noch einmal alles, um einen der Finalplätze zu ergattern.
Geschafft haben es schließlich die Teams aus Köln, Hannover, Zweibrücken und Wuppertal. Zeit zum Verschnaufen blieb den Teams nicht lange: Nach Bekanntgabe des Ergebnisses mussten die Teams sehr schnell ihre vier "Endgegner" festlegen, die für sie die Punkte in der Finalshow einholen sollten. Schnell wurde noch taktiert und argumentiert...
Danach gab es kein Halten mehr. An sechs Finalbouldern mussten die Endgegner in einer schnellen Show zeigen, was sie drauf haben. Aufgepeitscht und angeschrien von circa 300 Fans in der Halle ging es in die Endrunde.
Die ganze Show fand in einem Hangelboulder an beweglichen und frei hängenden Elementen ihren Höhepunkt. Die Begeisterung kannte keine Grenzen, als Felix aus Hannover mit einem Krampf im Finger - einarmig hängend - von Gregor aus Köln behandelt wurde. Fair play in Aktion, freuten sich die Veranstalter.
Am Ende siegte das Team aus Wuppertal vor Hannover und Zweibrücken. Köln belegte verletzungsgeschwächt den 4. Platz. Die Party danach ging bis halb vier morgens und die feiernden Berliner aus dem "Kegel" (5. Platz) wurden sprichwörtlich als letzte aus der Halle gekegelt. Für 2011 planen die Veranstalter (Tobi Reichert und die Firma Climb-Inn) eine Fortsetzung im internationalen Format.

CLIMB FREE der längste deutsche Kletterwettkampf

Der drei tägige Wettkampfmarathon auf der Münchner Messer f.re.e. vom 19. bis 22.02. ist vorbei. Die Favoriten für den Oberlandcup in den Kinder-, Jugend- und Erwachsenenklassen haben sich in Stellung gebracht. 280 Kletterer, drei mal so viele wie im letzten Jahr, von jung bis alt, von Hobbykletterer bis Profi kletterten um die Wette. Der 2. CLIMB FREE 2010 machte wieder Freude mit seiner einmaligen Mischung aus Familienausflug und sportlicher Höchstleistung. Die veranstaltenden DAV-Sektion München und Oberland sind hochzufrieden mit der zunehmenden Beliebtheit ihres regionalen Oberlandcups, dessen erste Runde der CLIMB FREE auf der Messe f.re.e. ist.

ニューヨーク州ロチェスター工科大学のクライミングセンターで行われたボルダリングのコンペ。夜の九時から始まって朝の九時まで登るらしい。この動画は5分ほどですが、ロングバージョンを編集中らしいので、アップされたら追加します。

In October 2009 the Red Barn Climbing Center at the Rochester Institute of Technology held its second Barn Burner Bouldering Competition where climbers competed for 12 hours from 9pm to 9am. This is what happened.

I filmed a lot more footage and am in the process of editing a longer version with more info on the entire process of setting the routes and running the competition. Should be done sometime in the near future.

2009年10月にロチェスター工科大学のレッドバーンクライミングセンターで開催された深夜（夜の9時に開始され翌朝の9時まで）のボルダリングコンペBarn Burner Bouldering Competition。このバージョンはRIT SportsZone向けに編集されたショートバージョンで、ESPN2とTWCSN Rochesterで放映された。素材はもっとたくさん撮っているので、課題のセッティングからコンペの様子までを含めた様子がよくわかるロングバージョンを現在編集中。近いうちに終わるはず。
